I've already reminisced about the NBA on NBC, which was a huge part of what made me love basketball in the early to mid-90s. This was (to me) their best and most iconic intro: Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan passing the ball back and forth to the Roundball Rock theme. Still gives me the chills...

Not only was this intro before my time, but it's so different from the intros I grew up on that I had no idea what to make of it after the first viewing, other than "that Jordan to Jordan pass was pretty kickass!" After three viewings, however, I completely agree with you; this is the best NBA on NBC intro I've ever seen.

You know, riley, that Jordan to Jordan pass always cracked me up. That video was cheesy, even by the standards of that day, but it was meant to be a little cheesy. And it was fun. It also reminds me of a time when basketball fans were a little less cynical and there were players that, for the most part, were genuinely loved by most fans of the sport.
